It took a few dodgy batches and some accidental fermentation before mates, Joe & Mike, perfected their soda and launched Six Barrel Soda.
With a 10 litre pot and a beat-up soda stream, the pair were determined to show what they believed soda can be. The early brave customers loved it and now their soda syrups and bottled sodas are being used to make wonderful drinks all over the place.
Nowadays, Six Barrel Soda still hand-makes the soda syrups from scratch, with a small team in Wellington. But the rest of the world is catching on too, with their products enjoyed in Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, Canada, and more!
